Revit training
Your job needs you on Revit yesterday, and the program keeps resisting? I take you from the interface to a full drawing set — on training files or your live project.
Who it is for
Revit usually has to be learned fast — and not always by choice. I teach people who need the program at work, not a certificate on the shelf.
- Architects moving to Revit — because the job requires it or the market does.
- HVAC and structural engineers: your discipline, your logic, your families.
- Interior designers who want to issue documentation straight from the model.
- Those already working in Revit who hit a ceiling: visibility/graphics, families, worksharing.
Formats
The first step is a free call: we discuss your situation and goals, pick a format, and build an individual programme and schedule.
- 1:1 mentoring in two styles: 'I show — you repeat' or 'you do — I guide'.
- Files: training projects or your live work model — whichever fits.
- Help on your current project: pure practice on your model, no theory or homework — for those already working in Revit. On this site that format is BIM consulting.
- Corporate training: a programme around the practice's disciplines (architecture, HVAC and more), server-based worksharing, lessons on the company's real objects. Priced individually.
The programme
The path from first launch to a documentation set — no gaps, no surplus theory.
A typical pace: students assemble a full architectural model within roughly the first two weeks of lessons. That is an outcome of regular work, not a promise.
- Interface, navigation, project setup.
- The model: walls, floors, roofs, stairs.
- Visibility/Graphics: controlling what appears on views and how.
- Families and their parametrisation.
- Views, sheets, schedules, issuing working documentation.
How a lesson runs
- 1–2 hours; you pick the time.
- Structure: theory + practice + homework.
- Every session is recorded — revisit the tricky moments as needed.
The teacher
I am a practising architect; for more than five years I have worked daily in Revit, Archicad, Twinmotion, D5 Render and Photoshop.
I worked at Development Systems, an official Autodesk partner, and at an architectural company featured in Forbes. I made the ArchiCAD-to-Revit switch myself and know the pitfalls — we go through them in lessons. If you are staying in Archicad instead, there is Archicad training.
Alongside private students, I currently train the staff of an operating design company.
Frequently asked questions
Can I start from zero?
Yes. We start with the interface and the basic logic of a BIM model; the pace is yours.
Whose files do we work on?
Your choice: training projects or your live work model. We decide on the free call.
How much does a lesson cost?
Pricing is calculated individually after a short call, where we go through your task and the format.
How is this different from BIM consulting?
Training is theory, practice and homework leading to a skill. BIM consulting solves tasks in your current project, with no theory or homework.
Do you teach Twinmotion, D5 Render or Photoshop?
Yes — all of them have been in my daily set for over five years, and we can add them to your programme.
